Entering PuntaCassano is like sailing aboard a big ship: paintings, objects, decorations contribute to evoke a marine-like atmosphere and you feel like on an enchanted trip in the sea, anchored to a barrier of Mediterranean scrub.

Residence Puntacassano is located in a strategical position and it is easy to reach. Placed by the coast road between Lecce and Otranto, Puntacassano lies in one of the several inlets of the Salento shoreline.
Here it is possible to go in for kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing and snorkeling.

The buildings, tastefully beauty, match with the sorrounding Mediterranean scrub, in the context of the WWF reserve Le Cesine, where the smells from the sea blend with the scent of the pines and of the other self-sown vegetation.

For a cultural excursion, it is possible to visit the Castle of Acaya, and the remarkable archaeological area of Roca, both of which are only a few kilometers away from the resort.



Puntacassano has a well-tended park 6,000 square meters wide, where it is nice to sun bathe or just have a walk.

Our swimming pool is perfect to have a relaxing time, enjoying an ice cream or sipping a drink from the bar.

For an athletic trekking, you can hire mountain bikes and go along several cycle tourism routes winding through olive groves and ancient fortress-farms all around.

Booking the day before, you can have a trip by boat (or hire one), or you can choose to go in for sport fishing, horse riding, trekking with a guide in the sites of Salento with greek roots. Moreover, in the vicinity of Puntacassano a 18-holes golf court have recently been established.

Guests equipped with their own boat can book a berth in the nearby tourist harbour, equipped with petrol pump, garaging, and all facilities.

Sea lovers can be sure they will be entirely satisfied by the marvellous colors of our sea and its crystal-clear water, made pure and clean by the currents typical of the nearby Strait of Otranto. Near the resort, easily accessible through an underpass, free and secluded beaches are available on thin, indented reefs. Or, as an alternative, a lido with recreational facilities is not far.
